We built a round patio at the base of the deck using Tennessee Tan flagstone. To prevent water from pooling under the deck we installed a dry creek bed at the base of hill to carry water away. We also installed river rocks along the side of the house, approximately a 1 foot wide area, instead of mulch to keep termites away from the foundation. In the front yard we removed the old paver walkway and veneered Tennessee Tan flagstone onto the existing concrete stoop and made a new walkway that slopes slightly toward to the driveway.
